The Knightstown public school system, the Charles A. Beard Memorial School Coporation, provides K-12 education to Knightstown and the surrounding communities.  Named after historian Charles A. Beard, the school system offers AP education and gifted education opportunities for students.

In an effort to get even more involved in the community, the school system created a Community Involvement Committee (CIC).  The main goal of the CIC is for the schools to give back to the community that attends the school system.
